Melancholia // Stardust

Words are not enough
Faces are not enough
Touches are not enough
Voices are not enough

The ways are not enough
Blades and bamboo
Sticks and bows
They’re not enough

Games played
Books read
Poems written
They’re not enough

Nothing is enough
Not today
I’m screaming and choking
Under calm façades

Stars don’t know they glow
Stars don’t know they fade
Stars don’t know they’re seen
Stars don’t know they’re hidden

One day we’ll all be stars again
But today I’m both
Nothing
And
Far too much

I’m waiting, waiting, waiting
To become something
Waiting
Holding my breath
Waiting
Waiting to become nothing
Waiting for the moment
Waiting
For time to fix this again
Or
Waiting
To return to stardust
