8 p.m.

The spring evening sun is still shining
I wish it got dark early year-round

I’m waiting for early sleep
Finally forming a new atheist prayer:

May chance see fit to bestow
One last wonderful luck —
Take the choice from me
When the moon is high

Just blink

I won’t see it coming

I won’t feel a thing

Just blink

Just blink over my eyes

Just blink

How many die every second?

Just blink

He many did fate just kill?

Just blink

I won’t even know
I won’t feel a thing

Just blink

No fear

Just blink

.
