Tiny Contrarian

I love the savage words,
The biting, cutting lines and brutal phrases.
I love the metaphors that slice, and cut, and pound down;
The similes that splash the walls.
There’s a miniscule contrarian in me somewhere —
A tiny savage.
These are Her philosophies;
They remind me that She exists,
And that maybe,
Today,
She has finally had enough.
